Ultimate Pet RANDOMIZATION: First Clue Received!

When we made it to the "20 Weeks" til shipping mark, we received a special backer clue as to what kind of "Ultimate Pet Build" we would be receiving in June 2019!

All we know so far is what the gender will be, but we are very pleased with this surprise! And she will be born in the Year of the Pig.

In other news, we received word that Kirsten (Scott's little sister) and Andy are expecting an Ultimate Pet of their own! And with an arrival date only 2 months after ours!!!

"Kickstarter" Finally Set to Ship!

As long time pet owners (and animal lovers who consider our pets to be our family), we decided that we were ready for the ultimate pet ownership experience. So, in August 2016, we decided to kickstart a project called "The ULTIMATE Pet"!

Despite ordering our Ultimate Pet in August 2016, a year later we were still waiting to hear anything about our place on the backer shipping list.

10/24/2018 - $40.00 - Initial OBGYN Visit for Confirmation of Pregnancy - Transvaginal Ultrasound

Insurance fully covered the cost of all subsequent routine OBGYN doctor's visits including an in-depth Nuchal Translucency Ultrasound, and the Level 2 - 20 Week Anatomy Ultrasound.

Total Backer Cost: $721.85

Finally, almost exactly two years after initially backing the project, we were informed that our Ultimate Pet was ready to ship and is due to arrive in June 2019!

We were given the option to customize the appearance of our Ultimate Pet, but we decided to live dangerously and chose the option to RANDOMIZE!
